Still Waters (Acoustic Session)
· 3:58
An intimate acoustic performance of Still Waters, recorded outdoors at sunset with nothing but a guitar and a voice.
Still Waters was written as a song of rest, drawn from the shepherd imagery of Psalm 23. In this stripped-back session, we recorded it outdoors as the sun went down, with only an acoustic guitar and a single voice.
We hope this version can be a few minutes of quiet in a loud day. Consider watching it at the end of an evening, or letting it open a time of prayer. The full lyrics and the studio recording are available on the song page.
Scripture in this video
“He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.”
