Gratitude in Ordinary Places
Gratitude is less a feeling we wait for than a way of seeing, practiced in kitchens, commutes and very ordinary afternoons.

Stories of Hope · Episode 1
· 14:05
A reflective film about rediscovering thankfulness after a hard season, and about how gratitude can sit beside grief rather than replace it.
Sometimes thankfulness simply runs dry. After loss, illness or a long stretch of disappointment, gratitude can feel out of reach, or even dishonest. This first episode of Stories of Hope sits gently with that experience.
Through quiet reflection and warm, golden-hour imagery, the episode explores how gratitude can return slowly: not by denying what hurts, but by noticing small gifts alongside it. It draws on Paul's encouragement in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 and on the difference between giving thanks in every circumstance and giving thanks for every circumstance.
The episode closes with a short prayer of thanks that you are welcome to pray along with. For practical ideas on cultivating everyday thankfulness, read Gratitude in Ordinary Places.
